Wiggling the shifter has made it go away each time. Searching the forum, though, I see mostly 2016 and 2017 models experiencing this issue.

When you step on the brakes, it gets an electrical signal that turns it into a magnet, which is supposed to pull a pin out of the way so you can shift out of Park. It sounds a lot like that mechanism is dirty or needs a little TLC in the form of some appropriate lubricant.
